2014 Tracker 1436 Jon Boat and Trailer – lightly used.
Jon Boat: I bought this boat and motor in 2015 and enjoyed adding on a lot of extras. I took it out on local lakes and at Loxahatchee Wildlife Preserve. But for the last several years mostly it has sat in our garage. I added a lot of bells and whistles, including a pole anchor for shallows. Time to let it go to someone who will use it!
Mercury 4-Stroke 9.9 Outboard. These are sweet little engines with a lot of value by itsself. it starts on the first pull and purrs. The 4 strokes are not the fastest but you don’t have to mix the gas and it will get you there and back.
Trolling Motor: Motorguide FW40 FB, bow mounted with foot control. 40 lbs of thrust – these are new. I installed a weed cutting prop but the original prop comes with the boat if you wanted to swap it back. The trailer is road ready for short trips, but I would recommend bearings before a long trip – they’ve not been greased in years.
Trailer: the trailer is older. The small wheels are nice for floating this boat in a shallow launch. It works but is nothing great. I moved the front winch way forward to get the boat in my garage, but that makes it tongue heavy. Unless you’re parking it in a garage too, you should shift it back for better weight distribution.
Add ons:
• carpeted front platform and compartment for the battery and safety gear;
• carpeted bench tops (don’t get nearly as hot!);
• two cushioned foldable fishing seats on gas shocks;
• soda holders;
• pole-anchor system installed on the transom and pole anchor;
• stick-steer system and safety throttle pedal (remove it if you don’t like it);
• rear corner compartment;
• kill switch for batter to prevent drain between uses;
• “ear muffs” hose attachment to run it without being in the water;
• electrical panel for additional electrical that I never go around to installing.

• Water proof container for phone;
• Kill switch lanyard;
• Extra tie-downs;

Boat and trailer and both Registered and ready to sell. You’ll find a lot of jon boats and trailers are not titled or registered and getting a new one is a nightmare. These are ready to go. The trailer works, electrical too (see pics of lights working) and is road ready for short trips, but I would recommend bearings before a long trip – they’ve not been greased in years.
