GTX155 is in an excellent condition, 166 hrs, service records over last 4 years, with two road covers (one original Sea Doo with soft flannel inside and a new one custom made my Amish) on a nice Karavan trailer (no rust, good tires, just greased the bearings). It has many new features for 2010 including iBR (Intelligent Brake and Reverse system), iTC (Intelligent Throttle Control), OTAS (Off-Throttle Assisted Steering), DESS (Digitally Encoded Safety System), Learning Key, GPS and a new hull S3. Stored on lift in summer and heated garage in winter. It comes with a fire extinguisher, small anchor and docking bumper cylinder. Original owner’s manual and shop service manual are included. I have Indiana titles for both the jet ski and for the trailer.
The previous owner (2nd one) had service it (winterize) in the local boat marina for the last 3 years. I was told that 1st owner completed the 100 hrs service but never had a dealer to clear the service warning light. I just wanted to be sure that it is done so early this year, at 159 hrs, I completed a full 200 hrs service (oil change — synthetic blend, 10W-40, oil filter — OEM Rotax, NGK spark plugs, fogged the cylinders, new 5 year coolant, lubricated all moving parts of the jet nozzle, added fuel Sta-bil and Beryman B-12 fuel system cleaner to the gas tank). I don’t have nearby Sea Doo dealer to clear the service warning light. So next service is due on 259 hrs. As an automotive engineer I would only change the oil and oil filter at that service, it is absolutely clear that the spark plugs can be good for at at least 300-500 hrs (I applied anti seize paste on the spark plug threads).
Last summer at our family vacation on the Bass Lake in Michigan we put on it only 7 hours. The jet ski ran flawlessly, on a flat water it hits 53 mph based on its GPS speedometer. Have flushed the exhaust system, cleaned it and applied a light coat of wax, and set battery on the trickle charger.
