Update: The motor was failing to start two weekends ago and after taking it in the mechanic they informed me that it has low compression which likely means there are bad seals in the engine. is being lowered to reflect this and may accept reasonable offers. In the meantime I’ll be looking for other repowering options.
Selling my 2004 Proline 20 Sport. This is a great all around boat for both fishing and family use with lots of great features and upgrades.
For family she has a full pad up front, high railing for kids safety, center console with large head for storage (or potty if you wanted to add one), custom cut down for easy access without moving the front cooler seat with cushion, and an upgraded rear jumpseat I made for the back (I have the hardware for the second seat, jsut never got around to building it) large hard t-top for shade (and sturdy enough for my kids even jump off), a custom shade I built for the front that can be used while driving, 4 speaker bluetooth radio.
For fishing, shes got over 30 rod holders, insulated fish box in the front, center located livewell behind the lean to, electric trim tabs that help getting on a plane early and leveling the boat as people move around, GPS spot lock trolling motor with dual batteries and an AC battery charging connection, front LED fog lights and rear LED spreader lights, Garmin side scan GPS unit with dual transducer setup and over 1000 points marked offshore, VHF radio, dual starting batteries, washdown pump.
She has a 2004 Honda BF150 that had 1000hrs on here just over a year ago. I havent put many more on her which is why Im selling the boat. I have taken this boat 40miles out multiple times and she can drift in 18 inches. I have gone to the keys 4 times with her and had great family and fishing time.
Trailer is a tandem axle and had both torsion axles replaced last year.
This is a used boat, she is not perfect, but a great boat. The main issue she has is with the trim, if you try to trim the motor while cruising, it usually ends up blowing a fuse on the engine. It’s perfectly fine when you’re idling and works without problem, I believe either the trim motor is just getting old and drawing too much power or I have a bad connection somewhere that’s causing a voltage drop.
Bill of sale will be provided that seperated out the engine, trailer and hull since you only have to pay taxes on the hull.
Includes 10 months of seatow I can transfer to the buyer.
