Oldie but goodie:
This pontoon boat spent the first 19 years of her life in the state of New Mexico, where boats and trailers never rust (and they don’t get used very often either when the nearest lake is a 3 1/2 hour drive away)!
Original Mercury 90hp ELPTO 2 stroke has less than 200 ttl hours on it (built before hour meters, so that’s my best guess based on 4 trips/year at ~2 hrs run time/trip. ~8 hrs/year X 23 years = ~184 ttl hrs.). Bottom line: the motor still runs like a top. Original benches and chairs need a good cleaning, but the vinyl is still soft, with only a few minor tears from fish hooks. It still has all the original equipment, all the navigation lights are working, with the following upgrades:
– ALL ALUMINUM DECK, which means it will never have to be replaced. It won’t rot, corrode, mold or mildew like typical plywood decks.
– 1/2” thick vinyl mat flooring (a upgrade in 2019) – it never gets too hot in the summer sun and the soft, spongy surface is great for bare feet; it’s also easy to rinse off after every trip.
– Pull out, 4’ bow entry ladder that stows under the deck ( upgrade).
– Bluetooth marine stereo (great sound – installed one year ago. upgrade).
– worth of anti-fouling bottom paint added to both pontoons 2 mos ago (previous to this the boat was always kept in dry storage)
– interior railing, under bench lights for nighttime fishing/boating ( upgrade)
Also includes the original Bimini top with a new boot cover, 4 fold down, swivel fishing chairs, 1 L group couch with stowaway table, captain’s chair with built in livewell (pump motor currently not working), 2 storage bunks, extra storage under couch and in captain’s console, new fire extinguisher, as well as a custom, heavy canvas full boat/playpen cover.
