Time to part with my 18-ft center console, Boston Whaler influenced, 1986 Wahoo with a 1998 Yamaha 150 (2 stroke) and single axle aluminum I-beam trailer.
Here’s the good: The boat will be sold equipped to go on the water the same day. Included, (4) orange PFD’s, throwable float, two anchors (bow anchor mounted to rail and stern anchor stowed in front hatch), two dock fenders, two dock lines. Also included, Garmin GPS depth finder, 72 qt cooler under helm flip/flop seat and 94 qt cushioned cooler in front of console and full boat cover with cowling cover. The bow cushion and (2) backrest (one in front of console and one on flip/flop seat) are all brand new. All of the wiring has be re-run and cleanly wrapped and labeled this season. The dash panel and switches are new. All electrical works as it should. Bow light, anchor light (which mounts on top of the console) and two interior lights, as well as bilge pump all work perfect. The battery was replaced last season. The trailer lights replaced last season. Also included is a small solar powered trickle charger for the battery. Bimini top, which is in good condition. Not in stellar shape but good for another few seasons. The original gas tank was replaced in 2020 with a 41 gallon aluminum tank. Fuel gauge on dash works. Swim platform
Here’s the bad: The boat cover has a small rip at the bow. It can easily be stitched up. There is very limited storage on the boat. The bow compartment is pretty full with main anchor line and stern anchor. Under the console has 4 PFD’s and a dry-box and there is a little room for a few small items. The rear port storage has the oil reservoir and the starboard has the battery. I use the two coolers for dry storage and bring a 3rd cooler for drinks/food. The large bow rail is great for kids. The hull is VERY solid. She has some battle scars but all of it is cosmetic. The 2-stroke is all but bullet proof. The 150 has a great hole shot, perfect for pulling a skier or tube. Not sure about the hours.
She’s not mint but it’s definitely meant to be on the water.
