FULL DESCRIPTION

UPDATE!! I had the bottom scraped and cleaned on 12/17/2022. According to the diver, the bottom is in great shape overall but should be hauled and bottom paint done when possible.

I am selling her because I have found my dream sailboat and need to move fast to get her so that’s the reason for the price drop. Also, email or text me for a video of the engine running just yesterday, or get in touch to come to see her. The boat is located in the panhandle between Pensacola and Panama City Beach in the town of Niceville on Choctawhatchee Bay.

For sale is a well-maintained 1980 S2 9.2 C 30-foot center cockpit performance cruiser. Winning racer-cruiser for many years out of a local yacht club.

S2 sailboats were built by world-class yacht builder Leon Slikkers who also built the high-end Tiara Yachts brand out of Holland, Michigan.

The S2 9.2 C is a roomy well built solid fiberglass hull and boasts a large private aft cabin, a good size V berth with two additional settee berths amid ship in the salon. She will sleep four adults comfortably or a total of 6 if using the settee berths. She offers a full head with a small tub, folding dining table, 6’2" headroom, several hanging lockers, large fore and aft hatches, and opening ports for great ventilation. She does have a built-in A/C unit but I have not tried to run it. As seen in the pics she is well equipped with older but nice electronics.

She has wheel steering with a strong 14 hp Yanmar 2QM 15 diesel engine. All cushions throughout are in excellent condition offering comfortable sitting and sleeping. The Holly Teak sole (floor) and all other wood are in great shape. The wall and headliner coverings are in great shape but need cleaning and some gluing.

The standing rigging is in great shape. Some of the lines need to be cleaned and some will need to be replaced.

She will come with a full assortment of sails including a main in great shape and several other types of sails. They were recently inspected by a well-known local sailmaker. The alcohol stove needs to be reinstalled. At this reduced price, I do have a new never used Force 10 2 burner propane stove and oven I will sell separately if you decide to remove the A/C unit and prefer a full gimble stove and oven combo. The fiberglass sailing dinghy will be included.
