1976 Hatteras 58 lrc motor yacht, atlantic crossing capabilities, 471 detroit’s,very iconic boat! This boat in particular is very well know and the only negative has been a designer at some point had the original teak panelling WALLPAPERED! , The boat is currently undergoing a complete interior refit, still time to pick out salon flooring and appliances and colors, 45 years of caulking removed,teak ,interior/exterior stripped,blocked and sanded,wood flooring in pilothouse stripped and being refinished, all wallpaper removed and original teak panelling stripped, sanded and being refinished to better than new ,engines reported to have only 400 hrs since rebuild, @ in spare parts onboard, holds @2500 gallons of diesel with 2 -700 gallon water tanks that could be converted to fuel for 5k capacity, new headliner,wiring,now 24 and 12 volt, chargers,all led lighting, newer electronics,chart plotters-3,2 radars,auto pilot,bow thruster,ais,etc etc, one of the straightest lrcs I have ever seen, this yacht shows it was loved,but interior was original,very nice,but WALLPAPERED, a comparable nordhavn would be millions and does not have anywhere near the room as this motor yacht, and built by Hatteras with american craftsmen, google where nordhavns are BUILT, not the importer, this is a rare boat and only a handful were made, 941 623 7 2 0 6
***To give perspective as to how big this boat really is, in the head on picture with yachts next to it and the picture looking down on the bow with the boat in front and that’s a 30 footer, and the ones to the side of it are 50ft,68ft,and 80ft, and it dwarfs them**and none of them could cross the Atlantic, but the LRC can!
***The Hatteras LRC, is NOT the same as the motor yacht, they are night and day different, a 58 Hatteras motor yacht, weighs @79- lbs, the 58 LRC 140,000 LBS, 58 motoryacht, 1200 gals of diesel, this 58 LRC,3500 gals,with tanks that can be switched to fuel, 700×2 for almost 5000 gallons of diesel! this is a totally different boat, next to a 58 motor yacht , it makes it look like a toy.
***Undergoing complete interior refit ,with complete new galley design, granite,all new high end appliances,subzero refrigerator,freezers,wall oven,trash compactor,dishwasher, etc etc, still time for buyer to pick colors, style
Boat is out for bottom job and staying out until April, then headed north to lake Huron, no hurricane damage,and not coming back until after hurricane season 2023
